Shortline
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 28 August 2026
This policy explains what Shortline ("the Service", operated by Tri Core Innovation LLC) collects, why,
and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to hide behind length.
Who Runs This Service
Tri Core Innovation LLC, reachable at alertpk52@gmail.com. The Service is hosted at
youtube.tricoreinnovationllc.org.
What We Collect
- Account details. Your email address, an optional display name, and your password. The
password is never stored as text: it is hashed with scrypt and a per-account salt.
- Your Google credentials. The OAuth client ID and client secret you create in your own
Google Cloud project, so uploads run on your quota rather than ours.
- YouTube access tokens. The access and refresh tokens Google issues when you connect a
channel.
- Channel information. Channel ID, title, handle, thumbnail URL, subscriber count and the
Google account email attached to it.
- Your video files, only while they are needed. If you upload through the Service, the file
is written to the server's disk, sent to the channels you selected, and then deleted
automatically once every channel has finished. If you tick "Send Straight To YouTube", the file
goes from your browser to YouTube and never touches our disk at all.
- Publishing records. Titles, descriptions, tags, scheduled times, job status, error
reasons, and the resulting YouTube video IDs.
- Activity log. Sign-ins, failed sign-in attempts with the IP address that made them,
channel connections and disconnections, publishes, and administrator actions.
We do not collect analytics about your browsing, we do not use advertising cookies, and there are
no third-party trackers on any page of this Service.
How Your Google Data Is Used
Shortline's use of information received from Google APIs follows the
Google
API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Concretely, the access we request is used only to do what you asked for:
- youtube.upload — to upload the videos you send.
- youtube.readonly — to list the channels on your account and read the
status of videos published through the Service.
- youtube.force-ssl — to post the first comment you write, to read and
moderate comments you ask about, and to update channel branding you edit here.
- yt-analytics.readonly — to show your own views, watch time, likes and
subscriber changes.
We do not transfer your Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, we do not
sell it, and no human at Tri Core Innovation LLC reads it except where you specifically ask us to help
with a problem, or where the law requires it.
How It Is Protected
- Tokens and API secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using envelope encryption: each record has
its own key, wrapped by a server master key held outside the database.
- Sessions are signed, HttpOnly cookies, marked Secure whenever the Service runs over HTTPS.
- Accounts are isolated from one another. One account cannot see, publish to, or disconnect
another account's channels.
- Nothing is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your data we
will tell you at the address on your account.
How Long It Is Kept
- Video files: deleted as soon as every channel you selected has finished, or immediately if you
published straight to YouTube.
- Account details, channel records and publishing history: kept while your account exists.
- Activity log: kept while your account exists, so you can audit what happened.
Deleting Your Data
You can remove your Google credentials at any time from the Settings tab, and disconnect any channel
from the Channels tab — disconnecting revokes the token at Google immediately.
To delete your whole account, email alertpk52@gmail.com from the address on the
account. Every stored token is revoked at Google, and your channels, videos, jobs and templates are
removed. Videos already published stay on YouTube: they belong to your channel, not to us.
You can also cut off access yourself at any moment, without asking us, from
your Google
account permissions page.
Children
This Service is for people running YouTube channels and is not directed at children under 13. We do
not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and the new version
appears on this page. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept it.
